Ventura Village Board of Directors Meeting
The meeting was called to order at 6:08pm by Chair Melanie Majors
Present: Elizabeth Ihde, Ray Peterson, Melanie Majors, Thor Adam, Michelle Benson, Steve

Excused: Patti Peterson
Unexcused: Josiah Hanka, Kathy Mishow, Amanda Martin
Motion: (R. Peterson/Dreyer) To approve the agenda for the December 14, 2022 meeting.
Passed
Motion: (Dreyer/Adam) To approve the minutes for the November 9, 2022 meeting. Passed
Motion: (R. Peterson/Adam) Recommendation 2212-1: Move to amend the bylaws Proposed amendments are available on our website at venturavillage.org, Call or email us if you need a printed copy. Passed
Motion: (Ihde/R. Peterson) Recommendation 2212-2: Move that at the December 2022 Membership Meeting Ventura Village will accept nominations from the floor for Board Members, those Board nominees will be voted on at the January Membership Meeting. Passed
Motion: (Adam/Dreyer) Receive and file the financial report. Passed
Josiah Hanka resigned from the board

Community Garden Applications
Grow your own fresh food! A new community garden space will be installed in Spring 2023 at Peavey Field Park. There is no cost to participate. Minneapolis residents without land access outside the parks will be prioritized for space.
Apply by February 1st through the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board at www.minneapolisparks.org/communitygardens
