December 2020 Committee Meetings

Our December Committee Meetings will be held December 17th via Zoom only (due to Governor’s orders) beginning at 5:30pm. The Zoom link will be sent out Thursday afternoon. If you attended or were emailed a link to the December 9th General Membership Meeting we will send you a link to this Thursday’s meeting. If you did not attend or receive a Zoom link to the meeting on December 9th and wish to join us this Thursday please send an email to villageventura@gmail.com, contact us through out webpage at venturavillage.org, or call 612-548-1598 and let us know. Due to heightened security you must include your full name and address. There is also a phone in option for those that wish to call in. If you need help or have questions regarding Zoom you can state that as well.

Our November committee meetings will be held November 19th in person at ICCM (1812 Park Avenue South) in the second floor conference room beginning at 5:30pm. The meetings will also be available via Zoom. If you are not on our email list and need the zoom link please send a message through the website.

Masks are required for in person attendance. If you are in need of one we will have some available for no cost.

There is on street parking available as well as parking in the lot behind the ICCM building. There is additional parking in the grass lot across the street (access of which is through the alley off 18th Street).

Change in venue for Tonight’s meeting (10/14th)

Tonight’s General Membership meeting will be held at Trinity First located at 1115 E 19th Street. The meeting will still begin at 7pm and you can attend in person (mask required..one can be provided if you need) or via Zoom. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Committee Meetings resume June 25, 2020

Ventura Village Committees will meet on Thursday, June 25th, beginning at 5:30 pm, at Trinity First Lutheran School.  Please come to the south parking lot side of the building on 13th Avenue just north of Franklin Avenue. 

The Crime & Safety Committee will meet first, followed by the Housing & Land Use Committee, the Community Engagement Committee, and the Wellness Gardening and Greening Committee. 

Masks are required and social distancing will be observed. Disposable masks will be provided to anyone who shows up without one.

For the time being, our crime prevention specialist Kali Pliego will come and give crime and safety updates, but we will not have any of the police officers at the meeting.
